About Me
I have a deep love for the sound and feel of the human voice, and enjoy the challenge of using speech to create meaning, feeling, and mood. As a narrator, I strive to create a compelling experience for readers, immersing them in the world that the author has created.
I have a PhD in Linguistics, and my expertise in human languages is invaluable to me in serving as my own dialect coach. I'm able to tackle a wide variety of accents, vocal styles, and dialects in my narrations (and am always up for a new challenge!).
I'm a lifelong reader of literature, fantasy, science fiction, romance, and non-fiction. The most gratifying aspect of narration is, to me, the opportunity to fully immerse myself in a wonderful book. I also enjoy a close working relationship with authors, and see myself as a partner for writers in realizing their creations in audio form.
The best way to book projects with me is through the Silverton Agency; you can find my profile here. I also take projects through both ACX and Findaway Voices.
